In this hard time of pandemic, the most immense pain for an individual is suffering from the pain of death of a loved one. An ordinary human without spiritual understanding experiences much hardship of a death, because of his own ignorance. An ignorance person's mind will keep him engaged in the incident of death, rather than getting on the fact, which a spiritual person understands seemlessly.
Arjun in the battlefield of kurukshetra, prior to war sat with despair, his hands trembling with pain of thought of killing his kinsmen. Arjun renounced the thought of dharm from his mind, and teamed up with ignorance.
Krishna saw his friend's devastating condition and imparted him with the precious knowledge of Bhagwad Geeta. Krishna tells arjun that, sobbing on the thought of loosing your loved ones, is a thought of ignorance.
Verse - 13
It is the nature of a soul to transfer from one body to another in a time period of a complete life. But what's the nature of body? The nature of the body is transform. A Human transform from a boyhood to manhood then old age to death. After death, a person's whole life finishes, then his soul travels form current body, to another body.
This is the true nature of the body and soul. This is fact, and a renounced person, a spiritual being never get bewildered by witnessing this process. Neither he gets melancholic for loss of a body. A spiritual being always thinks in a way, that both body and soul much reach their ultimate destination—for body, to get merge with panchatantra and for a soul, is to reach higher dimensions. Soul is meant either to reach higher dimensions or to transfer oneself to the body of another being.
Verse - 20
A body is mortal and frangible, but a soul is not. A soul is immortal, everlasting, undamaged, invincible, indestructible, unborn, primeval and eternal. A body is mortal, thus it cease to exist after completing one life cycle. A soul never ceases from existence, it exists, and will always be. For a soul, a body is nothing more than a cloth. As we changes clothes at regular basis, similarly, soul changes its clothings after a period.
For if you're thinking in a way that "he's dead" then definitely there're errors in your thoughts about death. He is dead, doesn't means his soul too died. He's immortal, because he got a peace in himself which is immortal, soul.
