The third part of “Leveraging Holy Book Geeta” talks about the most common problem of an individual in his life—Fear. Fear of anything, could vastly affect the process. Fear can reduce enjoyment in the process, also it weakens you in difficult times. One who is under possession of “abhay”, fearlessness, has achieved half way to god.
Let us take you to the incident happened almost 3200 year ago, when kurukshetra war is at its brink. Two armies were stood facing each other, with the only objective to tranquil their blood thrust. Kauravas and Pandavas were standing in the battlefield with their allies in a mayhem.
Mahanayak Arjun was indeed one of the most powerful character in entire Mahabharat, both mentally and physically. But no human is strong enough to kill their own kinsmen, and majorly those, who are innocent.
Arjun's hands were trembling with fear. He left his gandiv bow and sat on his chariot, in despair.
To subdue Arjun's fear, krishna imparted him divine wisdom of Bhagavad geeta.
Krishna says, you can achieve my transcendental love by getting one with me, by leaving behind your fear and attachments. Past is evidential, that millions of people have found happiness by being freed from these material attachments, fear and happiness. Spiritual bliss could be achieved by being fully absorbed in me (krishna).
There's no other way to ran away from this enemy, which is better known as fear.
Omniscient Sanjay said to king Dhritrashtra— O king of Kurus! Shree Krishna in the battlefield of kurukshetra have revealed his purushottam, Vishwaroop. One with four arms, and cloud dark complexion. Four arms holding Panchajanya conch, Sudarshan Chakra, Lotus and Kaumodki mace. Arjun and Sanjay were two blessed beings to witness Mahavishnu's divine darshan, for whom even devatas crave. Witnessing this divine scene, there's no fear left within them.
It was not only evidential that, arjun surrendered to Krishna's divine form. But also, his fear had surrendered immediately.
O Parth! Fear is meant to deluded. One must establish the mode of goodness in his life to get an understanding of what is ought to be done and what not. And what in his life is binding him and what is redeeming him, bestowing him liberation.
Thus arjun stood and took his divine bow, to perish his enemies in the name of dharma.
