How many of you follow your hear? Raise your hand.

Many of you might be struggling in choosing the options between what your heart chooses and what your parents choose. Most of the people suggest choose what your heart says but in reality, how many of you choose what your heart says???

Myself being a girl in a middle-class family, I never dared to choose what my heart chooses. 

So ­­here I am telling you guys my own struggles and frustration to get help from you.

Me: Amma what should I wear for tomorrow’s function.Mom: Select whatever you like.

Me: I like this one.

Mom: That does not look good. You can wear the pink dress that I bought last month.

Finally, after long war I wear What my mother chooses or else she would not talk with me for a while.

You people might take it as simple but what if it happens when you are 28 years old. 

My parents give me everything so that my future will be bright. They do not care if I love the things they provide or If I am happy with the things they do. They strongly believe that whatever they do is for our own good. I have no words to say when they say this which I find very ridiculous.

I am not allowed to spend time with my guy friends because my relatives may take me as a spoiled girl. Do you find it reasonable? 

Mom you know me very well if they come and ask you tell them that you trust your daughter and ask them to get lost!!

My parents constantly insult my work. They say I do a idiotic job. Hey Dad! I work for a MNC company. As my role promotes my responsibilities increases and I need to work few more hours extra. Your daughter is a team lead for 10 people. I wanted to shout but I could not.

Whatever they do, whatever they say I still do not dare to raise my voice. 

I have been coping up with them for almost 20 years and will love them rest of my life because I believe everything they do is for my own good. 

I hope every girl find her own freedom and happiness one day.

Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes I wish I know those reasons
