Is Giving Up Really Bad?

Nowadays, you will hear each and every motivational speaker and every other person talking about not giving up, they literally criminalize each and every person who does this. But, let's see the other side. I will explain you with an example. One of my mother's uncle was really passionate about banking he gave many attempts and failed many, in that duration he got many job offers too but he rejected them for his goal but he never made it and now he was jobless from that date to this date their family has faced poverty , they lived just on their relatives mercy. So, if the man would have simply left it and took any of the job offer than wasn't it possible that his children were  having a good future right now. Look giving up is not a good but sometimes other things matter especially if you have a family to feed. You can definitely work on your dreams and try as many times as you want but sometimes you will have to give up on it to make your life. Maybe life has something better for you? Or your idea of life and actual life are entirely different? Like you are want to clear upsc but your life heads you in the teaching field and you are able to guide many children  There are many great businessmen who gave up on their dreams but than later created huge empires that they never thought of creating and now even they admit that it was the best decision to stop chasing  what's not in their hand at the right time. Whatever happens happens for good what if sometimes giving up is the only option. Many people call their parents failures because they don't earn lakhs like their classmates parents but what if your father just run after his passion leaving you and other members of your family in distress would you be able to have what you own today. So, my point is not to judge everyone who gave up, yes if  a person gave up due to fear, laziness or comfort zone than you can definitely criticize them they deserve it but if someone sacrificed his own dream for others than just please don't they already live in a guilt let them live peacefully. Sometimes giving up is more important than chasing something.
