Hello everyone!! Humans are social animals, we live in a very diverse society and to fulfill our needs it becomes important for us to socialize, communicate and understand each other. All of us possess unique behaviours and character traits some of which are postive and some negative. We are capable of forgiving people for their behavior but what if someone's behaviour becomes so toxic that living with them becomes worse than living in hell. In this kind of situation whatever the relationship is, it is called toxic. It need not be a relationship between husband and wife or lovers but a beautiful relationship like of parents and children can even become toxic sometimes. Toxic people are everywhere in today's world, we can't stop meeting them but we can definitely let the other person know the limits to which we can tolerate. So, today I will be sharing some tips which will help you to stay away as well as leave people who are toxic.
So, Let's begin
1.Set boundaries and let people know about it.
Just look at this example, you have a friend whom you don't like talking to because her focus is mostly on herself and she sounds like a narcissist. Now, what you can simply do here is to set simple boundaries like talking to her only on weekends, talking to her only in school, college or workplace or telling her to change the topic, this last one is one of the best ways to end a toxic friendship because someone who is a narcissist won't accept you telling them what to do Or you not giving them appropriate amount of attention that they want.
2.Tell them directly
Just directly tell the person that how their talks affect you and your mood. What you feel good and what you don't feel good or feel bad. You don't need to end your friendship because in today's time we don't know when can someone help us. So, just tell them that you can't spend more time with them but you will definitely help them if they are in need and note if they don't feel the same or don't help you in your bad times then just end such friendship.
3.Breathe and meditate
The first two points will help you to leave toxic people but this tip will help you to bring back you mind's peace. Breathing and meditation will help you to understand yourself and your life more seriously instead of what others are saying.
