1.JAMMU

Jammu is the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir.Lying on the bank of river Tawi,Jammu is surrounded by the Himalayans in the north and the northern plainsin the south.It is the focal point of the people going to Voishno Devi .There are many other places to such as Mubarak Mandi Palace,Bahu Fort, Raghunath Temple ,Amar Mahal and so on.

2)SRINAGAR

Srinagar is the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.It lies in the Kashmir valley on the band of the Jhelum River ,a tributary of Indus ,Dal and Anchar lakes.The city is known for Kashmiri Shawls and dry fruits.The most famous attraction is the Dal Lake and Nigeen Lake.Srinagar has some Mughal gardens such as Chashma Shahi,Nishat Bagh ,Shalimar Bagh and so on.

3)GULMARG

Gulmarg known as “Gulmarag” meaning ‘meadows of flower’,is a hill station popular of skiing destination.There are many attractions such as Maharani temple ,St.Mary's Church ,Gulmarg Gondola and so on.

4)SONAMARG

Sonamarg,known as Sonamarag meaning 'meadows of gold"is a hill station located at Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir .Sonamarg provides trrekking routes leading to Vishakar Lake,Krishansar Lake in the Himalayas ,which are stocked with snowtrout and browntrout .

5)AMRITSAR

Amritsar ,historically called as Ramdaspur and colloquially as Ambarsar is a historic place and the second largest city in Jammu and Kashmir .One of the most famous attraction in Amritsar is the GOLDEN TEMPLE and the WAGAH BORDER. Other attractions are Gobindgarh Fort,Jallianwal Bagh ,VR Ambarsar and so on.
