Heya Peeps!

I got up today and thought of making something for breakfast, obviously the first thing that comes to my most people's mind is to get some easy peesy recipes from youtube, I mean the world has just survived the Pandemic, thanks to YOUTUBE. Literally food kept all of us going!

Now, with that came a thought, How does everybody go on with the COOKING PROCESS, no seriously, I am very much interested in knowing about it. Because I am not a very ‘add according to your taste’ person, I am very PRECISE while I cook, ‘GUESSING AND ADDING IS JUST NOT MY GAME’

COOKING FOR ME IS AN EXACT SCIENCE!

*INTRODUCTION*-Let me start by introducing my rules that I have to  follow or else my broth is already spoiled even before it starts boiling(chuckles) .

*AIM*: when I decide to make something

*APPARATUS* : lots of patience 

*PROCEDURE*

RULE NO 1: THINK THINK THINK - I think hard then I thought while writing board exams (and just for your information I am a very geek into books topper person) now you can imagine the pressure. I legit can't cook anything that comes into my mind. I have to calculate all the likes dislikes ,pros and cons , the level of difficulty, then calculate everything by using some PYTHAGORAS theorem and may be may be after all this my final answer would be satisfactory and I SHALL COOK NOW! 

RULE NO 2 : GO WITH THE FLOW of: 1) mum's recipe : as I have recetly shifted to a new country, I often call my ammi and ask her for the recipe on the phone and she just tells me the whole recipe in minutes be it dal or biryani (I think all ammis are wired like that). While ending the call I will always ask her for the audio of the recipe on which she says "pchhhhhhh" everytime but still sends it to me , now this audio is my tune till I cook it. I listen to it again and again and again till I don't precisely get everything in my head. 

(nope I hvnt finished yet)

2) Now I will youtube the same recipe for getting the exact measurements in accordance to measuring cups and spoon (and when I am doubling or making the recipe half I literally calculate the cups to spoon conversion) no kidding!

The real challenge here is when they don't give the written recipe I everytime have to pause to write the recipe step by step in my ammi's chat for referring later on or I will google the same recipe to get the ss! (yep I do it)

3)MOBILE PHONE : Yes, I need it to follow instruction but particularly to follow the time(don't worry my phone has a apron for himself). If the recipe says rest for 10 mins my timer immediately starts for keeping EXACT 10 mins(yep I know the 11th min won't turn the tomatoes into apples but you never know🤷‍♀)

So ladies and gentlemen...now finally I can begin brewing my potion of love for my family and for them I think the rules are worth it. I want my dish to be the best FORMULA they have came across with ..not just one but every single day because they deserve it.

*CONCLUSION* :For me COOKING  is not just EXACT SCIENCE but ROCKET SCIENCE where..
