Breaking Through Nervousness Ain't Easy. Fear Of Not Being Accepted Always Haunts Every Corner Of My Heart.

“Hello, my name is ….” trembling voice and a long pause couldn't continue; was interrupted and lost the chance of being a part of the friend's group, a part of a family member, a part of society and lost many opportunities.

We all might share similar stories of different situations. Those who don't speak up, don't share their views, and always locked up inside four walls ……the world named them introverts.

Let's talk about introverts.

The terms introversion and extroversion were introduced by Carl Jung, both tend to have their own meaning accordingly. It started varying from time to time and human to human. Introversion is manifested in more reflective and reserved behavior. In short INTROVERTS are those who are shy, quiet, and prefer to spend their time alone rather than being with other people. Few are bold enough to break through their fears to stand up for themselves but the rest hide.

I've come across different kinds of introverts, not everyone is similar; considering all under one roof ain't fair. Apparently, there are 4 types of introverts according to the study:

  • Social Introverts: They are more likely to be in small groups and quiet settings over crowds.
  • Thinking Introverts: People here are daydreamers. They spend a lot of time in their thoughts and tend to have creative imaginations.
  • Anxious Introverts: They are always shy and feel awkward around people.
  • Restrained /inhibited Introverts: These think before they act. Their decisions are like a whim and typically take a longer time to take action.

Often myths we hear about introverts are they are unfriendly, boring to have a conversation, they can't be leaders, accepts everything, and hard to understand them. These myths always had a bad impact on introverted people. How can one understand what's best for them unless and until we try it? The same goes with them, they are just lacking support and a comfortable environment for them to feel safe and can be accepted. The fear of being a laughing stock and the embarrassment they might get on behalf of opening up makes them feel so insecure.

Let us break the cage of being an introverted person, not for the world or for society who expects something from us. We will live for us, live for people who really care for us. It's okay if you are surrounded by people who always treat you like trash, ignore it and live up to your dreams. Lucky you if you have good people, embrace their support, love, and care. See this blissful world beyond those four walls. Stop punishing yourself and wanting the world to accept you. That is when you will explore a new person, who will break through their fears and start living a real life.

INTROVERTS ARE MORE CREATIVE, KIND, AND BEAUTIFUL IN PERSON.
