In 2008, Mithran Jawahar made his directorial debut with the Tamil-language romantic comedy Yaaradi Nee Mohini, which translates to "Who are you, beautiful woman?" Dhanush and Nayanthara play the key characters in this remake of the 2007 Telugu smash Selvaraghavan's Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule, which also features supporting performances from Karthik Kumar, Raghuvaran, Telugu film director K. Vishwanath, Karunas, and Saranya Mohan. The climax is slightly changed.[2] Music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja wrote the score. A song from the 1958 movie Uthama Puthiran inspired the title.
STORY -
He makes multiple attempts to get a job, but all of them are unsuccessful because of his limited educational background and weak linguistic abilities. All of his friends have found success in life, yet he still has trouble getting a job. Vasu has two devoted buddies, Ganesh (Karunaas) and Cheenu (Karthik Kumar). He often faces criticism from his father, Raghuvaran, a teacher, for his lack of responsibility. This has just made his problems grow longer. At this point, Vasu notices Keerthi (Nayanthara), a woman, and he falls in love with her right away.
She works for a company that provides software solutions, he finds out. Fortunately for him, Vasu eventually gets a job at the same company. Eventually, Keerthi reveals herself to be a young woman with a short fuse. Vasu travels to Australia with her and two other coworkers, Jeeva and Manobala, on a business trip. Here, he tells her that he loves her. She declines him right away, explaining that her uncle's son has already arranged for her to marry into an orthodox family. Then a dejected Vasu goes back to India. His father chooses to see Keerti since he is unable to witness his son's despair. She hits Vasu's father inadvertently and mistreats him for endorsing his son's love.
Vasu's father passes away from a heart attack later that evening. Cheenu is able to talk Vasu into going to his family's rural home in an effort to lift his spirits. It turns out that Keerthi is Cheenu's fiancée, coincidentally, during the train ride. Nevertheless, Cheenu and Keerthi leave the house to pursue their own identities, dispelling their grandfather K. Viswanath's plans to marry them off sooner.
Their granddad feels his chest tightening over this. After a few days, Keerthi and Cheenu's parents decide to marry them in order to please their grandfather. Keerthi discovers after a series of twists and turns that she is actually in love with Vasu. Cheenu overhears their talk when Vasu asks her to forget him during a midnight meeting because he thinks it will cause issues in their happy family.
Cheenu makes an attempt to coerce Vasu and Keerthi into telling everyone in attendance about their connection during the wedding. When they are hesitant to proceed, Cheenu ends the union on his own by pretending to his elders that he is married to a woman in Chennai. Upon disclosing the facts to his relatives, Vasu faces eviction from the residence after Cheenu receives criticism from them. The only person who agrees to go with him is the house grandma, who serves as a reminder of Vasu's late father.
Eventually, Vasu hosts the remaining members of Cheenu and Keerthi's family for a few days. Cheenu's grandfather, however, says he needs more time to adjust and is still upset with Vasu, so he won't let him inside the house. When Vasu and Keerthi become a happy couple and live together contentedly, the film comes to a conclusion.
