In this modern era, e-commerce has tremendously accelerated which made shopping a trend world wide. While, earlier people used to do shopping for fulfilling  their basic needs , nowadays,  however it is considered as a recreational activity. This tendency stems from several reasons and beside having some merits , it can be largely seen as  a negative trend.

Basically, the numerous causes can be regarded as responsible for changing trend of shopping. One of the prominent reasons behind it is that the earnings of families has been increased due to globalization which subsequently results in the rise of purchasing power of people.  Moreover, advertisements attract individuals by representing modern trends alongwith providing many subsitutes of same product . To illustrate,  e-commerce plays a vital role to make shopping more convenient as any product can be bought at any place according to person's affordability.This can be explained as in the matter any individual love shopping for clothes or accessories of having to spend a lot of time in front of the store, a person  may want to think of going online.As in the today's era, majority of shops have been offering Internet as their main marketing strategy so that they can compete with the big stores. Even the introduction of credit card and convenient loan repayment plays are providing more  money to individuals for buying luxurious products.

However,  on the one hand , there are few benefits of this tendency. It may leads to economic growth of a country because of large spending of currency for shopping by country people. In the stack contrast, negatives are more effective. Firstly, due to impulsive purchase  using credit card facilities many individuals go under financial crisis. To illustrate, in a recent survey,  80% of youngster borrowed loans from banks to purchase the products that are beyond the capacity and become financial defaulters . One further limitation is that it is just a wastage of money as well as time. People can use this time and money to increase their income and business. In addition, more consumption of goods will result in more garbage and lack of space for dumping. 

In conclusion,  it can be reinstated that no doubt shopping is becoming an inevitable part of our lives and people consider shopping as a liesure activity to reduce their work related pressure however it is largely considered as a negative trend because of too much spendings on useleds things.
