Today my vlog tells about nature and type of microscope Read full blog and enjoy the blog thank you guys.Micro organisms are a hetero geneous group of several distinct classes living beings.The original classification under the plant and animal kingdom proved un satisfactory;they were then classified under a third kingdom, the protista.Based on differences in cellular organisation and bio chemistry, the kingdom protista has been divided into two groups, prokaryote and eukaryotes.Bacteria and blue green algae are prokaryotes, while fungi, others algae,slime mould and protozoa are eukaryote.Bacteria are proaryotic micro organisms that do not contain chlorophyll.Thay are uni cellular and do not show true branching,except in the so called higher bacteria.

SIZE OF BACTERIA:

The unit of measurement used in bacteriology is the micron.The limit of resolution with the unaided eye is about 200 Micron.Bacteria, being much smaller, can be visualised only under magnification.Bacteria of medical important generally measure 0.2-1.5 in diameter and about 3-5 in length 

Next vlog is related to phase microscope and electron microscope.

Types of microscope:

Optical or light microscope

Phase contrast microscope

Dark field/Dark ground microscope

Electron microscope 

Optical microscope:

Bacteria may be examined under the compound microscope, either in the living state or after fixation and staining.Examination of wet films or hanging drop indicates the shape, arrangements, motility and approximate size of the cells,But die to lack of contrast,details cannot be appreciated.

Phase contrast microscope:

This improves the contrast and makes evident the structure with in cells that differ in thickness or refractive index.Also,the difference in refractive index between bacterial cell and the surrounding medium make tham clearly visible.Retardation,by a fraction of a wave length, of the rays of light that pass through the object, compared to the rays passing through the surrounding medium,produces phase difference between the two types of rays In the phase contrast microscope, phase difference are converted into differences in intensity of light, producing light and dark contrast in the image. 

Characteristics-prokaryotes-eukaryotes.In prokaryotes, nuclear membrane, nucleolus,deoxy ribo nucleo protein,mitotic division is absent and consist of one circular chromosome.In eukaryotes, nucleolus, Nuclear membrane, mitotic division, deoxy ribo nucleo protein are present and more than one linear chromosome present.Thank you for all, thankspending your time to listening a vlog written by Me thank you.
